ABOUT ME
I trained as a journalist and spent years as a writer and editor before moving into humanitarian and development communications, where clear, evidence-based communication is core to how policy gets shaped. That’s what drives my work: cutting through jargon so complex, high-stakes research and policy is clear enough to move decision-makers, funders and the wider sector to act.
I work across the full pipeline — advising leadership on strategy and messaging, then delivering it myself: copy, web builds, social assets, events. Over 15 years I’ve led brand repositioning, convened stakeholders from grassroots members to government funders, and turned dense technical material into narratives that stand up to scrutiny.
